On Thursday, April 16, at 7:30pm The Third Thursday Poetry & Jazz Reading Series will feature Alameda poet Paul Corman-Roberts. The reading will take place at the Arena Market cafe and will begin with live improv jazz and an open mic with jazz improv; the reading will conclude with more live improv jazz.
Paul Corman-Roberts 2nd full length collection of poems “Water for the House of Yes” is forthcoming from Nomadic Press in 2020. He is an original co-founder of Oakland’s Beast Crawl Literary Festival as well as several other literary series such as Passages on the Lake and Beasts of Bourbon. He teaches with the SF Creative Writing Institute and as a substitute teacher with the Oakland Unified School District.
